Jesus told us to "wait for the Promise of the Father" and Paul says
that we were "sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise". In Ps.105:42 we
read, "He remembered His holy promise". We know that we have been
given "exceedingly great and precious promises" that "in Him are Yes
and in Him Amen to the glory of God through us".
We knew early on that we were to be "sowers of the Word". Our
surprise has been how many ways there are to do that! One of these
ways has been through teaching and interview programs which, in turn,
have brought many wonderful people into our lives. What fun to discover
and encourage other ministries!! May we share some of these
experiences with you?
God was unhappy with the children of Israel when they "limited the
Holy One of Israel". Our prayer is that we want to help to take off the
limits that man tends to put on God and to behold and experience His
unlimited goodness. We don't want to say "yes" to "Is your God too
small?"
Acts 1:4
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not
depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have
heard of me.
2 Peter 1:4
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye
might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the
world through lust.
Eph 1:13
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of
promise.
Ps 105:42
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
2 Cor 1:20
20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God
by us.
Ps 78:40-41
40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
